Gibson Shmibson.

http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2010/01/29/mel-gibson-obama-doesnt-takes-fix-america/?test=faces

Apparently Mel Gibson thinks that president Obama Can't "fix" our great United States of America. Go figure eh? I was really skeptical for the longest time wondering if Obama was going to do any good or not, but now that Mel Gibson voiced his opinion it must be obvious that Obama should probably just resign today. Maybe Mel should run for president. We could then start an american tradition where we all dress up as William Wallace and run around stabbing each others with vintage 1300's claymore swords, screaming "FREEEEDDDDOOOOOM" at the top of our lungs. I just can not believe that our country listens to the people whose job is to basically shape shift into a totally different person and entertain us, rather than the people whose jobs are to explain to us that Obama was not a good candidate to begin with. Now I am neither for nor against Obama because Honestly my opinion did/does not matter at this point in my life. I am merely the Buffalo in the middle of the stampede, forced to move with the herd or be trampled to death instead. But there is one thing that we should all as a country be focusing on right now, that is that we are all in turmoil right now and the only way were going to pull ourselves out is if we come together as a nation and all stand for something. Even if that something is The legalization of Marijuana in order to bring our economy back to where it was and become the country that we have been for the last 200 something years. The dominant one!
Now I am only eighteen, which basically means I am still a trust fund baby in this country due to the global and economic expansion that President Clinton managed to develop for us in the 90's. But i wasn't even alive when he was elected president. So the only candidates that i have been exposed to in my life is Gore, Bush, McCain, and Obama. Not a very promising representation for our generations support in this country and quite frankly it scares me to the point where I almost want to cut my losses and move to Italy or something. How bad would our country be if an entire generation turned their back on the nation that has installed all of their beliefs and views? It wouldn't be good, but i promise you that if we don't take action then we are going to be in the shoes of the immigrants that fled to america in the 20's or 30's. (which ever one it was) It's not going to be a opened armed upcoming country that we are forced to flee to though. It will be Russia or some stupid cold country like that. I don't know about anybody else but Russian is that last language i want to learn and personally i hate vodka so Heed the warning, watch for the signs, and good luck!

Our countrys finest

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp=35069039&#34879989

I watched this video today to try and get an idea on what to blog about, by the end of it i was laughing hysterically at the fact that this subject no longer has any cons, but our government will still not aknowledge the fact that if marijuana was legalized and distrubuted the right way they would be making enough money to get us out of this rut that were into today. marijuana sold legally in california alone rakes in 10million dollars in taxes for the government and could potentially raise up to 1.2 billion a year. Imagine if all 50 states were in on that action.

But that would make us imoral right? making profit off of a horrible and deadly substance like marijuana. Even though we do it with tobbacco and alcohol everyday. Which are also the first two leading causes of death in America. Legalizing Marijuana would not increase or decrease the number of users. why would it? You either want to smoke or you don't. In a study by the Narcotic Educational Foundation Of America called "Subject Narcotic." They stated that Marijuana was "Non Addictive" which means when a user is deprived of the drug they will not experience the agonys of withdrawl. Some people even consider coffee to be more addictive than Marijuana.

I think everyone should watch this video and then form your own oppinion on this subject. it changed my oppinion thats for sure.
