Another Mexico Shooting.
For the past year mexico has been fighting drug wars in well populated areas such as Mexico City. Hundreds of innocent people have died and many more will continue to suffer unless a drastic change is taken with the illegal drug trade. Marijuana exported from mexico is only about 10 percent of the pot here. But it still is valuable enough to a confused and poverty stricken country to kill so many people. So the question is, how can we fix this? The answer is simple. take it out of the hands of the criminals and bandits of ol' Mexico and put it into the direct hands of the consumers of the product. Bada Boom, now everyone is happy. I get to smoke pot and people don't have die for me to do so. This is hard to comprehend but just take a minute to think about how this works in poor rebellious country. They see that we want something, so they do what ever they have to do to get it here. Even if that means killing men, women, and children to do so. Now some might say, Why don't we just stop smoking marijuana instead? Because that will never ever happen ever. Marijuana has had an 1000% increase in users since the late fifties. That means that over fifty million people in america smoke marijuana. which also means that there is a butt load of money being pumped into our economy due to pot. So it would be senseless to throw an amazing opportunity like the the legal, taxed distribution of marijuana. How could our economy not flourish if an additional 20 billion dollars is being funneled through the red, white, and blue? Thats like saying an extra five thousand dollars a month wouldn't help a poor family get food. Again, please watch this Documentary and then come up with your own opinion of marijuana. Then ask yourself, is killing people over a plant really worth it?
27 years of confinement
Holy cow, so this guy named Tommy Silverstein who has been kept in solitary confinement for the last twenty seven years was let out the other day. Twenty seven straight years with no human contact, nothing but your own thoughts and small door that opens for food and water. Apparently "terrible Tommy" killed a correctional officer in 1983 and has been in seclusion ever since. He described the twenty seven year stretch as "a slow, constant peeling of the skin." This guy is freaking psychotic, he's been apart of the Aryan Brotherhood, addicted to heroin, and killed four people, one of which was a 51 year old prison guard. After he murdered the guard he was transfered to 7 by 6 foot square room with 24 hours of lights and security cameras. Tommy was cramped more than normal due to the fact that he is 6 feet tall. He has been transfered to over 5 prisons, all maximum security and one of which being leavenworth in Kansas. At one point during his confinement a bunch of Cubans rioted and took over the prison, seized Tommy and tried negotiating with the authorities trying to get lighter sentences. Now all he does is yoga, dram, and write letters to loved ones.
Mall cops are car hops
So today after i got out of class one of my buddys asked me to take him back to his apartment. So i did, after dropping him off and re-fueling my car at the kum and go on the corner or 7th and Duquesne i headed down Duquense street and headed back to MOSO. I just passed the new pizza joint in that that mini mall behind the gas station when all of a sudden there was cherry's and berry's flashing in my rear view mirror and they were wanting me to pull over. Well if any of you guys have ever been on Duquesne then you know there is no shoulder to pull off on, so i drove 20mph until i got to the alumni building right before the school. Well two cops rush to my window and start telling me that my windows are to dark and i dont have a license plate on the front of my car. I say "okay?" they say "let me see your drivers license" i say okay and reach into my back pocket. But guess what? I forgot my wallet at home that morning. Go figure right? So i tell the cop that i commute from Lamar Mo and that i totally forgot it because i was running late this morning. He say "okay." and asks me to step out of the car. I say, "alright officer." The moment i stepped out of the car the second police officer grabs me and puts me up against the car, starts to pat me down, then puts handcuffs on me and slams me into the back of the car. No exageration. While im in the back seat i see an officer searching my car like theres a meth lab in it, then all of a sudden he stops, looks back at the police car, gets this huge smile on his face, and starts to head back to where im sitting. When he gets in he looks at me and shows me my grinder and says "why didn't you tell us you had dope in the car?" I look at him and smile and say "that was used for K2, which is a substance that resembles marijuana and is 100 percent LEGAL in the state of missouri. His remark is, "crap, i got an e-mail about this yesterday." instead of letting me go they take me to a fucking shack in Duquesne and start giving me a DRE.(basically field sobrioty tests for marijuana) I pass, but then he tells me i have to get my blood drawn and i have to sumbit to a urine analysis. well i smoke marijuana everyday after i get my homework done so i know im going to fail. So i tell him, he states that that is fine but he still has to do it. Next thing you know im at jasper county police department in a holding cell with 6 meth heads with DWI-of marijuana charges and a failure to yield. My bond was set at 8,000 dollars and i haven' a god damn clue whats going on. They towed my car, took my cellphone and still have not returned it. (they also used my cell phone to talk to my friends in order to bust them with pot.) So the question is, Why do we let these stupid ignorant people who have the easiest degree at MOSO patrol and try to keep our streets safe? When did police officers turn from the good samaritains who protect us from criminals into the judge, juror, and executioner. And finally why do they need to find a way to put a routine stop into a certain classification for a reason that still hasn't been fully explained to me. Does not every case have it's own variable that should be looked at before issueing a citation that could ruin someones entire life? I dont want to go into a spill on how we can change it or anything ill just end this with one statistic. 26% of all inmates in missouris prisson's came from jasper county. Trigger happy?

Arrested for drawing.
Alexa Gonzalez, a seventh grader in queens was drawing on her desk one day towards the end of the day when her teacher pulled her aside and took her to the office to talk to the schools principal. The principal explained to her that she could get arrested and it actually happened. She was frisked and even cuffed to a pole for awhile. She was suspended from school and given community service. Apparently all the drawing said was "I love my friends Abby and Faith." How freaking retarded is that? The NYPD has yet to even respond to any comments. I am ashamed to be an American today.
Barefoot Bandit
Dude this kid is awesome, His name is Colton Harris and he is consider by the F.B.I. to be our nations most dangerous bandit. He Has stolen four planes, broken into a ton of house and cars to get credit card numbers, and has racked up countless cases of identity fraud. Funny thing is he's only 18. He just camps out in the woods to elude police and sneak into small community's and just jacks what ever isn't nailed down. He's pretty much our generations Robin Hood, except he doesn't give anything to poor people. In His last incident he stole a 650,000 dollar aircraft and tried flying over Vancouver for the Olympics. He didn't quite make it there, he turned around after he was told he was in restricted airspace. He landed the plane hard but the was no damage. Everybody should add this guy on facebook. http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=141268095255

I found my story, "Olympic Openings ceremonies clouded by Luger's death." on cnn. Nodar Kumaritashvili died while attempting a practice run hours before the ceremonies were scheduled to start. His teammates wore black ribbons to pay respects to Kumaritashvili. The article gos on to talk about how hundreds of millions of people were supposed to tune in fr the even tonight and also about how the Canadians want to win gold in both womens and mens hockey.

Fugitive Found by posting his status on facebook.
This is so funny. Is america getting dumber? Some guy was on the run from the police and was found because he was updating his stuff on facebook. He was involved in a domestic dispute and was arrested and posted bail. he then didn't return for court and just fled. He would post pictures of party's his was at on facebook along with his own wanted poster. The cops noticed him on the networking site and learned his job hours, where he lived, and even what he drove. They just waited for the perfect to time to bust him. what kind of criminals do we have these days. geeez.

Don't Ask Don't Care.
Well here we are faced with yet another decision on how we should react to homosexuals in our country's militia. I have no bias on this particular subject, but everyone knows the quote "those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." Well lets think about where homosexuality played a roll in a down fall of an entire empire. Rome maybe? Now this wasn't the only reason, but it played a big role. Roman soldiers would refuse to go to battle because they were afraid to leave their partners. So they were basically killed for refusing to head to war. Our country is already on it's way to taking silver in the race of civilizations for so many reasons. Economy, outsourcing, greed, corruptness. ex-cetera ex-cetera. Why would we want to throw another curve ball into the mix? It's really not worth it. Now if the navy want's to jump into one an others skivvies while there posted up 200 miles from shore then go ahead. Just make sure you don't miss with those 100. caliber artillery weapons.

Gibson Shmibson.
http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2010/01/29/mel-gibson-obama-doesnt-takes-fix-america/?test=faces
Apparently Mel Gibson thinks that president Obama Can't "fix" our great United States of America. Go figure eh? I was really skeptical for the longest time wondering if Obama was going to do any good or not, but now that Mel Gibson voiced his opinion it must be obvious that Obama should probably just resign today. Maybe Mel should run for president. We could then start an american tradition where we all dress up as William Wallace and run around stabbing each others with vintage 1300's claymore swords, screaming "FREEEEDDDDOOOOOM" at the top of our lungs. I just can not believe that our country listens to the people whose job is to basically shape shift into a totally different person and entertain us, rather than the people whose jobs are to explain to us that Obama was not a good candidate to begin with. Now I am neither for nor against Obama because Honestly my opinion did/does not matter at this point in my life. I am merely the Buffalo in the middle of the stampede, forced to move with the herd or be trampled to death instead. But there is one thing that we should all as a country be focusing on right now, that is that we are all in turmoil right now and the only way were going to pull ourselves out is if we come together as a nation and all stand for something. Even if that something is The legalization of Marijuana in order to bring our economy back to where it was and become the country that we have been for the last 200 something years. The dominant one!
Now I am only eighteen, which basically means I am still a trust fund baby in this country due to the global and economic expansion that President Clinton managed to develop for us in the 90's. But i wasn't even alive when he was elected president. So the only candidates that i have been exposed to in my life is Gore, Bush, McCain, and Obama. Not a very promising representation for our generations support in this country and quite frankly it scares me to the point where I almost want to cut my losses and move to Italy or something. How bad would our country be if an entire generation turned their back on the nation that has installed all of their beliefs and views? It wouldn't be good, but i promise you that if we don't take action then we are going to be in the shoes of the immigrants that fled to america in the 20's or 30's. (which ever one it was) It's not going to be a opened armed upcoming country that we are forced to flee to though. It will be Russia or some stupid cold country like that. I don't know about anybody else but Russian is that last language i want to learn and personally i hate vodka so Heed the warning, watch for the signs, and good luck!

Our countrys finest
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp=35069039
I watched this video today to try and get an idea on what to blog about, by the end of it i was laughing hysterically at the fact that this subject no longer has any cons, but our government will still not aknowledge the fact that if marijuana was legalized and distrubuted the right way they would be making enough money to get us out of this rut that were into today. marijuana sold legally in california alone rakes in 10million dollars in taxes for the government and could potentially raise up to 1.2 billion a year. Imagine if all 50 states were in on that action.

But that would make us imoral right? making profit off of a horrible and deadly substance like marijuana. Even though we do it with tobbacco and alcohol everyday. Which are also the first two leading causes of death in America. Legalizing Marijuana would not increase or decrease the number of users. why would it? You either want to smoke or you don't. In a study by the Narcotic Educational Foundation Of America called "Subject Narcotic." They stated that Marijuana was "Non Addictive" which means when a user is deprived of the drug they will not experience the agonys of withdrawl. Some people even consider coffee to be more addictive than Marijuana.
