Holy Mollie! that sure is an old batch of whiskey. So five crates of brandy were recovered on some scavenger hunt in Antarctic. It goes on to say that they only thought there were two crates. The bottles were apparently lodged underneath the floor of one of the offices at the abandoned factory. The bottles were so covered in ice the were impossible to remove from the ice with out cutting.
a few bottles will up for retail but one is for sure going to be reserved for an historical fact.
I would love to try some of this. I have had 20 year old whiskey before and it was awsome. I have a 25 year old bottle of JD I have been saving and I will try it someday.
ReplyDeleteAfter it's been decanted from the barrels it ages in to the bottles it's sold in, it no longer actively matures. Sorry, guys.
ReplyDeleteI must say, I do like my 15 year old Scotch, once in a while.
